SPEECH/LANGUAGE THERAPY - EVALUATION AND TREATMENT

Our Clinical Director conducts the evaluations and designs the best treatment available and individualized for each child. The Plan of Care is reviewed and adjusted according to the gains and child individual development. The evaluation has a valid period of six months; after which, a re-evaluation is performed. Then a new POC is developed or the child is discharged if the goals were met. Speech and Language Therapy involve: feeding therapy, stuttering therapy, apraxia therapy, phonological therapy, pragmatics, etc.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY - EVALUATION AND TREATMENT

Our Certified Lead Occupational Therapist Evaluates and designs the POC for each individual patient. The occupational therapist works with a client to help them achieve a fulfilled and satisfied state in life through the use of "purposeful activity or interventions designed to achieve occupational outcomes which promote health, prevent injury or disability. and which develop, improve, sustain or restore the highest possible level of independence.

EARLY INTERVENTION

EI is a system of coordinated services that promote the child's age-appropriate growth and development and supports families during the critical early years. The purpose of early intervention is to lessen the effects of the disability or delay. Services are designed to identify and meet a child's needs in five developmental areas, including: physical development, cognitive development, communication, social or emotional development, and adaptive development.
